Fall is slowly approaching in the Marquette area and the fishing is starting to get pretty interesting. The cold nights and rain have added a few migratory fish to our trout streams.Spawning pinks are putting a few eggs into the river but nymphs, streamers, spinners and crawlers are working best. On inland waters the fishing has picked up for walleye, pike and smallmouth as they prepare for the cold months ahead. In the next couple weeks my focus will be kings and coho near the shop and a few trips west to try to put a few musky in the boat. Good luck fishing and feel free to call the shop if you have any questions before your next trip.
