We have settled into our summer fishing patterns i the U.P. and the fishing has been great! I have been targeting trout most days, but I have gone out for warmwater species a few times. We have some hex still and lt. Cahills, but the best bugs to use right now are stones, hoppers and ants. We have been picking up a few walleye, bass and crappie trolling cranks and jigging with leeches. We have fatheads, suckers and leeches in the shop so stop by and pick up some bait before your next trip.

There are so many fish to target right now and I find myself changing my mind multiple times a day. Dry fly fishing for trout has been very steady with Cahills, Iso's and stones bring some good fish up all day. They sure are fat and healthy this year and if the weather holds they should have an easy summer with good flows and low temps. Warmwater fish has been steady with lots of nice pike, walleye and crappie being caught. Give us a call if you need some details. (906)273-0229
