Fall weather has arrived and the cooler nights are heating up the fishing. Salmon fishing on Lk. MI trips is going well and the Superior tribs have a few fish also.Trouts season is coming to an end, but the streamer bite is on and now is a great time to get out and tag some of the biggest fish in the river. I myself will be salmon fishing tonight and going for smallies/musky this weekend. I am pretty much booked for october, but I have dates available in November for fall steelhead and coho salmon. Give us a call at the shop for details.(906)273-0229
We are in the middle of a heat wave right now and many of our trout streams are fishing below average due to the temps and low water. On a positive note the warmwater fishing is going strong and will only pick up as we move into fall patterns. Salmon are starting to show up and when the water cools the fishing will improve. We are stocking up for fall and the first order of river salmon tackle will show up by the weekend. We are now accepting winter gear in the shop so if you have any items to sell or consign now is the time to drop them off.
