Typical November weather has hit the central U.P. and the fishing is great! We are seeing a major improvement in coho numbers and Steelhead are a daily occurrence. As of this week we are catching steel 3 to 1 over coho and they aggressive fresh fish! Water levels are good for this time of year, but a little rain or snow won't hurt at this point. The hot flies have been orange nuke or glo bugs in a size 8-12. Spin fishing has been very productive with most people fishing spawn or wax worms under a bobber. We are all booked up for the reminder of November, but I do have dates available for guided steelhead trips in December. Stop by the shop on the 26th of November for small business Saturday and score some great deals on flies, waders, materials and spin tackle. If your not going to be in the area feel free to give us a call and place an order.
