The conditions on local rivers are starting to look a lot better! We had a couple days of warmer weather last week and most rivers ended up with a slight stain and a push of fresh steelhead. Temps are still very low and will not be rising anytime soon so fishing low and slow while changing patterns frequently before moving will pay off. Egg and san juan worms have been producing for flies and spawn or waxies under a float have been best for spin fishing. Good luck out there and be on the lookout for degrading shelf ice.
